For this project we used Wakaflex, which has many advantages over traditional lead flashings. It is cement free, so there are no cracks and loose lead over time. Wakaflex is a non toxic flexible, self-adhesive roof flashing designed to replace lead in most modern roofing applications. This alternative can be stretched over details whilst dressing to give a smooth, neat and premium lead-like appearance.
